10th June 2003 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 20 - 30 mph gust 40 Surf / Sea State: choppy Air Temperature: 19 Sea Temperature: bit chilly Weather: sunny intervals Max Speed: Distance Covered: I'm glad I made the effort to get up to Brog after work today. Got out on 112lt board and 6.3 sail today us puddle sailors don't get to use this sort of kit very often so there was lots of grinning going on on my part. Wind was a bit gusts normal inland wind but was really powerful in the gusts. The water was very choppy managed to get some air off the chop (incontrol and when I wanted too) although some of the landings were a bit heavy coming done with a real slap. I managed to stay dry on some gybes and some tacks which made me well happy. One gybe I was still planing when I was half way flipping the rig and I fluffed the flip :( four stars im getting the chop hops and jumping in control but I wanna get the carve gybe |
